CH Alaric Embrace Barn Hunt
Here is CH Alaric Embrace 'Teagan' working Barn Hunt for the first time on Sunday.
You can see her check out the hay bales on the right, first, (this was where the tube had been hidden previously), then later walks past the hide, catches the scent and turns back.
It's a very good example of how all of our collies, no matter what their current occupation, can enjoy a new experience!
What do you use to shape your collie's nails?
My trusty Dremel Micro went to drill heaven, and apparently this model isn't readily available in stores anymore.
I picked up the Dremel Stylo+ for about $50 at a big box hardware store and gave it a try.
The biggest plus is the size - it's lightweight, slim and fits easily in the hand. It has 5 speed settings and I found setting 4 & 5 were good for nails.
Negatives are that it is a little noisy above setting 3, gets hot faster than I'd like, doesn't have a light as the Micro did, and has a cord.
