🐶 Meet Wolfman Wilson!

***PLEASE NOTE: Wolfman is NOT at the shelter. Meet and greets will be scheduled AFTER 9/21 for approved applicants only.

***Applications are open for three days only: Wed 9/2 through Fri 9/4

Wolfman Wilson is an approximately 12 wk old Maltese/Yorkshire Terrior Mix, also known as a Morkie. These tiny pups weigh 4-8lbs as adults and make loyal, social and spirited companions.

Morkies form tight bonds with their owners and love to play and cuddle! They can also be prone to separation anxiety if left alone for long periods and will often have a stubborn, spirited side. Wolfman would do best with a family that is often present and can provide behavioral training and a reliable routine for him to follow.

Morkies have hair instead of fur so they shed very little. However, their soft, silky coat will require regular grooming and brushing to prevent matting and from becoming overgrown.

These little pups also have a loud sharp bark, so if you are looking for a silent companion, a Morkie might not be for you. If you are looking for a small, active dog with a big personality then apply today! (Link in bio)🐾

KITTENS! 😻

It’s not easy trying to get the kids together for a family photo! Meet the triplets, Raven(F), Edgar(M) and Luca(M). These three are 9 weeks old and are quite the handful with tons of kitten energy! They are available to meet but won’t be able to go home until mid-September. The girl Raven would probably do best being the only cat in the house or with another cat that is more mature and doesn’t have the desire to play rough anymore. She can’t stand her brothers trying to pounce on her constantly! But the boys would do well with other playful cats (or humans!) North Attleboro Animal Shelter is incredibly thankful to the Olivia Knighton Foundation for the generous and much needed donations!!! 😻

On July 19, 2026, a few of Olivia’s best friends created “Liv’s Lemonade Stand” and raised money selling lemonade for the OKF in honor of Olivia. The kids chose to donate the proceeds to The Healing Arts Program at Hasbro Children's & Rhode Island Hospital, and the North Attleboro Animal Shelter . Thank you to Kenidee, Sophia and Anisah for creating this special event and raising money for two amazing causes! 🐾

This beautiful bird is an Osprey, a large bird of prey that spends the spring and summer seasons in Massachusetts. Their diet consists mainly of fish and they can be found around all types of bodies of water.

This poor bird found itself in downtown North Attleboro after accidentally striking the side of a building. Thanks to the quick and thoughtful actions of the employees and the NA Police Department, Animal Control was able to safely capture the bird and transport it to a local wildlife rehabber for observation and treatment. It is very important for birds that have suffered a window strike to get to rehabber as soon as possible as they may have internal injuries that cannot be seen.

From ACO Mitchell:
A severely injured, small, grey long haired kitten was found this evening on Cumberland Ave near Rt. 1 in North Attleboro. A Good Samaritan kept it safe until I could arrive and transport it to an emergency vet.

Unfortunately, its injuries were severe and the kitten was humanely euthanized. 😿 It appeared to have been wounded by another animal and was most likely feral. If you recognize the description of the kitten or see any other kittens in the area, please call the shelter at 508-699-0128. Thank you ❤️

😺This orange cat has been seen in the Smith St area of North Attleboro, near Earlmar Dr. and Falmouth St., for a few months now and we are trying to find out if it is owned or cared for by someone in the area.

Meet Iris! 😻

Iris is an estimated 2 year-old spayed female cat who was found taking shelter in someone’s shed along with her three babies. Iris didn’t take to motherhood very well and rejected her kittens (don’t worry, they were bottle fed and doing fine!). Here in the shelter, she is a quiet girl that keeps to herself. Iris is going to need a patient, calm person to help break her out of her shell. She is shy around people but has started allowing some of us to pet her. With the right adopter, we know Iris will make a great companion! If interested in Iris, stop by the shelter for a visit or submit an application online. (Link in bio) 🐾

UPDATE: Owner located.

😿 FOUND CAT: We unfortunately picked up a deceased cat found on Broadway near Richards Ave in North Attleboro yesterday evening. The cat is an adult sized orange tabby with a fluffy tail and purple collar. There is a microchip but it is not registered.
