Sadly we missed getting into the top 50 vote getters out of the Seeds of Change grant submission. But that doesn't mean we won't keep supporting our community with fresh, delicious food!

Our CSA shares start on the last Thursday of the month (26th). We have a few openings for full or half shares left if you haven't signed up with a farm yet. And yes, we are willing to work with you to reduce the price in exchange for volunteering!

Thanks a bunch for all of your support!

A quick how-to on fruit grafting so you can help your local food system

“The hope is that through this one small act (of grafting) we can reconnect with a shared space and reconnect with each other,” Hui said. “Ultimately, I think codes and regulations should respond to the reality of people’s lives. Just taking an evening stroll, and then you see a fruit and you reach…

Every vote counts and if we make it to the top fifty submissions, we get a shot at winning one of the grants! It would mean a great deal to us and the Norristown community.

Thank you!

Our organization’s garden/farm is in the running for one of four $20,000 grants, or one of twenty $10,000 grants from Seeds of Change®! Vote for us every day from 03/31/16–04/18/16 to help keep our garden growing.

While Horizon House was over putting in some amazing volunteer time, we weeded a row and found a leftover carrot from last season!
Don't worry, it was shared and consumed quickly :)

Hey Folks! Hope you have been really well throughout the winter and are enjoying spring as much as we are here.
I have to apologize for the lack of updates on the farm thus far. The flu season had me knocked out for about three weeks and I've been scrambling to accomplish my to-do list.
We have had two wonderful groups of volunteers come out and prepare some of our raised beds in the past two weeks and just got some seeds planted!
Also, if you are interested in a shared this season send us a message and we'll start compiling the list of people that get to benefit from some hyper local Norristown produce.

As always, stay healthy!

Anja raves about the flavor of them so it was hard to get her to agree and let these leave.
