The summer season has arrived 🌞, bringing with it warmer temperatures and increased humidity🌡. If it's hot outside for you, it's even hotter for your pets 🥵. Here are some suggestions to help ensure your pets safety during this time:

- Always have fresh water available 💧

- Take walks and hikes during cooler times of day 🐕‍🦺

- Avoid hot surfaces, such as asphalt. These surfaces can burn paw pads 🔥

- If outside, make sure there is a shady spot for your pet to rest 🌳

- Never leave your pet in the car, even in the shade or with windows cracked 🚗.

New patients are always welcome! Trooper Veterinary Hospital is a 5-doctor, small animal (cat and dog) practice, located just outside of Norristown, PA.

We are proud to be certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the standard of veterinary excellence. We regularly meet or exceeding over 900 strict veterinary standards.

Trooper Veterinary Hospital is certified as a Cat Friendly Practice by the American Association of Feline Practitioners, a global initiative designed to elevate care for cats by reducing the stress for the cat, caregiver, and also the entire veterinary team.

Our highly skilled and friendly team provide wellness exams, surgery, radiology, dentistry, laser therapy, preventive medicines, and diagnostics, among other services. We offer lodging for our clients in our indoor, veterinarian-supervised facility.
