What a day! Some ☔️ , some 🌞, and a lot of jumps!

Always glad to get a little jump excursion in!

Chili and Hannah came home with TWO 🥈🥈in huge classes!

Chicago and Macyn came home with plenty of things to work on, a personality of the day award, and perhaps a fast lane pass to the glue factory (kidding, kidding) 😅

Any time we go out it’s celebrating the little wins and setting new goals to make us better horse people regardless of the ribbons- and our horses, well, as predictable as possible. Always grateful to see our riders grow.

We started the season as cross rails and are finishing up at the .80m 👏🏻

(Did I get any actual jump photos? No. I was too busy holding my breath every round. Better luck next time)

Camp.

I don’t mean to be too sentimental when I say this (okay, maybe a little) but my love for camp far surpasses anything that I could ever put into words.

You see, camps have shaped my life.

I don’t remember the nitty gritty details of my first camp. But I do remember countless hours at the barn. My very first barn, the one that we had passed so many times as a kid that I’m sure I begged and pleaded to stop at a million times. I remember my first camp that lead to riding lessons, and the riding lessons that lead me to a second barn- because at the first barn, we couldn’t ride in the winter.

My lesson hours turned into days, my days turned into nights full of laughter and hay loft sleep overs and before I knew it, I was helping at their summer camps instead of being the camper. I met my best friend (still as an adult!) at this barn. I spent most of my childhood, from 11 on there, even when I had was lucky enough to have a barn at home!

My heart horse came home to my parents (psssst. The old guy is still at our barn now 💜) and suddenly I had two extra stalls to fill, so I filled them. And THEN, I had horses to share! So we started CAMPS. I held my first CAMP after graduating high school.

The following my year, I spent a summer at an all girls summer CAMP as a camp counselor/ riding instructor.

And as my career with horses expanded, we continued to have CAMP.

FARM CAMP saved my sanity, and many others during Covid.

And soon enough HORSE CAMPS returned in full swing. Every single one of them selling out, and then some.

IN 2024 I was hired to be the head of a riding department at an all girls Summer CAMP, and life felt like it had come full circle. I love that CAMP too. It is its own kind of special.

But I knew our barn still needed camps. I needed camps. So with some helping hands, some really amazing camp counselors and some crazy few weeks, we’ve continued to run camps, making this THIRTEEN SUMMERS.

I promise you, that at the end of the week, we are all as tired as your camper. But there is nothing more that fills my soul than spending time with our horses, in our ever changing and growing barn, with your children. There is no greater privilege in the world than being the CAMP where your kids are.

I hope they look back someday, and even if horses aren’t their passion in life, they remember that little old horse CAMP full of fun and laughter and friends (horses too!). Thank you for trusting us with your most special humans, and making the LAST CAMP OF 2026 pretty magical!

If you’ve made it this far, Fall Session lesson Schedule will be in your inbox tomorrow 😅

Our last camp of the summer kicks off tomorrow! ☀️ Whether you are a seasoned rider, or just starting out this camp is for you!

When you signed up, if you didn’t receive a packing list, here’s a great way to double check that you’ve packed needed items! Disregard your spring wear, bring a bathing suit and towel instead!

Our camps focus heavily on horsemanship, foundational riding skills, building friendships with common interest, and working together to problem solve.

We run summer camps to share our love for horses, but to also help shape an environment that can be inclusive to everyone.

Please note that before and aftercare are not available every day this week, inquire if it is needed.

Can’t talk right now, we’re doing horse kid stuff 💙

Our Summer is blowing by, and the crazier it gets the less time we have to capture the moment because we’re so heavy in living in it. The late nights, early mornings and the love for the horses that these kids share is something I hope they cherish for the rest of their lives.

Here’s to BIG THINGS for all of them!
