We will be closing early on Friday, July 3, at 2:00 PM in observance of the holiday weekend.

If your pet experiences anxiety from fireworks, please be sure to pick up any prescribed anxiety medication before we close. Don’t wait until the last minute!

Firework Safety Tips:
🐾 Keep pets indoors in a secure, quiet room.
🐾 Make sure collars and ID tags are up to date in case they get startled and escape.
🐾 Provide a safe space with familiar bedding or toys.
🐾 Keep windows, doors, and gates securely closed.
🐾 Never bring pets to fireworks displays.

We wish you, your family, and your furry friends a safe, happy, and fun Independence Day! ❤️🤍💙

Meet Sweet Theo ❤️

Theo’s story started with heartbreak. She was found wandering along a road, searching for food and safety. One of our employees stopped to help her and discovered she had a microchip. We were hopeful she had a family missing her, but sadly, when we called the number on file, we were told they no longer wanted her.

Despite everything she’s been through, Theo hasn’t lost her loving spirit.

This sweet girl is about 13 weeks old and is now searching for the forever family she truly deserves. She is spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccines, potty trained, and does wonderfully in a kennel.

Theo is full of love, resilience, and puppy charm. All she needs now is a family to call her own, one that will cherish her for the rest of her life.

Could that be you? Come meet Theo and see if she’s the missing piece of your family. 🐾❤️

☀️🐾 Hot Weather Safety Tips for Pets, Livestock & Chickens 🐔🐴🐶

As temperatures climb, our animals depend on us to help them stay safe and comfortable. A few simple steps can make a big difference:

💧 Refresh water daily (or more often!)
Hot weather can cause water to become warm, stagnant, and contaminated with algae, bacteria, dirt, or manure. Fresh, cool water encourages animals to drink more and helps prevent dehydration and heat stress. Check water containers throughout the day and clean them regularly.

🌳 Provide plenty of shade
Whether you have dogs, cats, horses, goats, cattle, or chickens, access to shade is essential. Trees, shelters, tarps, and well-ventilated structures can help animals escape the direct sun and lower their body temperature.

🐕 Exercise during cooler hours
Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are lower. Hot pavement can burn paw pads. If it's too hot for your hand to comfortably rest on the pavement for several seconds, it's too hot for your pet's feet.

🐔 Don't forget the chickens
Chickens can suffer from heat stress, too. Make sure they have fresh water, shade, and good airflow in their coop and run. Frozen treats such as watermelon or frozen vegetables can provide extra cooling and hydration.

A little extra attention during hot weather can help keep all our furry, feathered, and hoofed friends healthy and safe this summer.
