So, why bring your dog to daycare anyway? Here are a few reasons.

- Socialization! Your pup will get more comfortable around new dogs and people. He/she will gain confidence and learn the dos and don’ts of interacting with other dogs. We have plenty of “regulars” at daycare, so most dogs get used to spending time with the same playmates!

- A trustworthy staff: our play areas are fully supervised when the dogs are out playing. Our staff knows what behaviors to watch for and when to intervene.

- Exercise: socialization and exercise lead to a happier, healthier pup. At our daycare facilities, dogs are grouped first by size and then by temperament. If your dog wants to play all day, we can usually pair them with an energetic playmate! If your pup’s friends are feeling lazy, we have plenty of balls for fetching!

- Rest breaks: all dogs at our facilities are kenneled for a lunch break (noon to 2pm on weekdays) so that they have a chance to rest.

- Webcams: both of our locations feature cameras in each of the play areas so that you can check in on your pup throughout the day! We love hearing that a parent caught a cute moment on the cams!

- Grooming! As a bonus, you can schedule a bath and nail trim during your dog’s daycare reservation - and pick up a clean, happy pup!

Request to book your pup’s daycare days online at okcaninecorral.com - a first-day “temperament test” must be scheduled for dogs new to our daycare. After “passing,” you can drop your pup off on any (non-holiday) weekday for daycare without booking in advance!

We get this question a lot: what do I bring for my dog's boarding stay? Here's the answer!

Let's start with what's required:
Quick release collar - We require this type of collar (the one with the plastic buckle) for safety reasons. No flat/metal buckles please.
Vaccinations - We require your dog to have up-to-date rabies, bordatella, and DHPP vaccines to enter our facility.

Now, what's recommended:
Beds and/or blankets - We can provide cots and blankets, but we encourage you to bring your own so that your pup(s) will feel more comfortable.
Food and treats - We can feed our house food, but switching diets suddenly can cause digestive issues for your pup. We strongly encourage bringing the food and treats you use on a daily basis and letting us know of any allergies.
Medication - Bring your dog's medications along with instructions and we'll ensure your dog doesn't miss a dose.
