I want to explain how a deshed works. I have recently seen people promising to eliminate or even decrease the amount of hair in your house with one visit. Or even promising this by simply only taking a blow dryer to the pet. This is not how it works. When a “proper” deshed is done you must use a good quality deshed shampoo and conditioner. But that is not all it takes. It is a complete process. It takes multiple different tools and xtra time. And this process needs to be done at least once a month to even start to see results. Also you need to keep in mind “coat blowing” comes twice a year(minimum). So the shedding never completely stops. It can be minimized but only if this is followed diligently.
