YNOTZ Pet Toys creates handcrafted mats and toys and a uses a portion of proceeds to make and distribute mats and toys to local rescue groups for those fur babies waiting forever homes and wildlife rehabbers.
· The toys are a variety of shapes, sizes and rigidity to allow for all those picky babies of all sizes and enrichment needs
· The mats have a variety of purposes. A special sleep spot for the smaller fur babies and mental activity stimulating activity and slow feeding for fur babies.
We try to make them reasonably priced and a variety of sizes and price points to be affordable to everyone.
Even larger babies can use a smaller mat, you just refill it. If you have a pet who gulps dry kibble the food worked in the mat requires them to root out their food and slows them down. It offers great mental stimulation for fur babies of all ages and sizes.
The natural skill of using the nose and foraging is great mental stimulation which is very important for a pet’s health.
The mats are made of fleece and either a utility mat (soft base) or a rubber sink mat (more rigid and heavier).
Dogs, Cats, and even piggies and raccoons have used our mats for treats, for feeding, for napping. Kitties like to work their feet in muffin making on the soft fleece, root our treats and sleep on then. Smaller pups like to eat dry kibble, root out treats and even nap on them. Larger pups love working for food and treats. Other pets find them fun and stimulating as well.
Prices are based on cost to make. Some mats are thicker than others and each one is handmade and is different in thickness of the mat which determines the amount of work to retrieve the goodies, Longer and less thick are also available. Longer snouts like longer deeper pockets to root in and less thickness means treats go farther in and require more rooting. Many rescue pets have to have medical treatment and require crate time or reduced activity and this is wonderful for them. Others are gulpers of food or are learning what toys ad activities that are fun really are. Some have crate training time and others need to learn focus. Kittens often need something to entertain them to give momma kitty a break or they may have no momma and the mats are soft for snuggling and feeling a sense of safety.
We donate mats and toys of various sizes and such to local recues for free thanks to the support of folks who buy these mats and toys from us vs. other sellers on eBay or etsy. We also try to be priced so everyone can afford something because all pets need a mental stimulation and affordability to enrich pets lives is key for us.
