We would like to extend a huge gratitude and appreciation to the community for the positive thoughts and concern regarding Georgie’s current health. We think (and hope) the worst is behind us but the road to recovery will be a long one.
We are bringing back the Georgie Treat Bags for a limited time on a donation basis to help with the cost of his upcoming appointments and vet visits. If you know us you know it is very hard for us to ask for help and the financial burden is becoming a big stressor. Georgie is 6 and we have had him as a puppy so we are doing and seeking every possible way of getting him better. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Good Morning Georgie’s Family!

We wanted to share an update and thank you for all of the positive vibes our way and being patient while we navigate Vet visits and working full time.

Since Saturday last week Georgie has been touch and go and there were moments we just didn’t know if he would make it.

Today! We heard some AMAZING news that we get to pick him up from the hospital and even though he needs to be monitored he will make a full recovery.

Thank you Blue Dog-Pet Care and Services for helping us at the store and making sure everyone gets what they need!

We really want to thank the amazing ladies at Carpenter-Pope Veterinary Hospital for everything that they have done.

We also want to thank the brilliant crew at Veterinary Emergency & Specialty of Tidewater

🔥🌡️ HEAT ADVISORY FOR JUNE 11 & JUNE 12 🌡️🔥

The "feels like" temperatures are expected to reach dangerous levels over the next two days. While we're all looking for ways to stay cool, please don't forget about the outdoor cats and community animals that depend on the kindness of others.

💧 Put out fresh water for outdoor cats and wildlife.
🌳 Place water bowls in shaded areas whenever possible.
🚫 Avoid using metal bowls outdoors! Metal bowls can quickly heat up in direct sunlight, causing the water inside to become hot and unsafe for animals to drink. Plastic or ceramic bowls are much better choices during extreme heat.

A simple bowl of cool, clean water can make a life-saving difference for a cat trying to survive these temperatures.

❤️ Please take a moment to check on your neighborhood cats, elderly neighbors, pets, and anyone who may be vulnerable to the heat.

Together, we can help keep our community safe, cool, and hydrated.

Good morning Georgie’s Family!

We want to first apologize on the short notice of closing yesterday. It is/was scary and sad for us and we had to be flexible for Georgie.

With the help from Friends, we will be open normal hours from now on.

We also want to Thank Carpenter-Pope Veterinary Hospital for being kind, patient and understanding with us.

We just ask that you send some positive vibes Georgie’s way!
