Kitten season is here, and unfortunately cat rescues are currently at maximum capacity.
We know you mean well when you bring kittens to the shelter, but in many cases, the best thing you can do is give mom a chance to return. Mother cats often leave their kittens temporarily while searching for food and will come back to care for them.
Kittens have a much greater chance of survival when they remain with their mother. Unless the kittens appear sick, injured, or are in immediate danger, please monitor from a distance and allow mom the opportunity to return before intervening.
