Importance of Regular Checkups for Reptiles
Many reptile veterinarians suggest scheduling checkups at least twice a year to facilitate early detection and treatment of potentially serious illnesses. During your visit, you will engage in a comprehensive discussion regarding the appropriate feeding, housing, and care for your new pet. It is strongly advised to bring a fresh f***l sample in a plastic bag or wrapped in tin foil, so your veterinarian can examine it for intestinal parasites.

We frequently receive inquiries about the purpose of f***l testing. Routine f***l examinations are essential for identifying intestinal parasites in your dog. These parasites may include:

Worms (such as hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms)

Microscopic parasites (like Giardia or Coccidia)

Intestinal parasites can lead to disease in dogs, and some of them are also transmissible to humans, including hookworms, roundworms, and Giardia.
