We have experienced extreme sadness here. I’m wondering if Chevy is looking for Dixie? She’s been gone since 8 am yesterday, July 14th. We are devastated. I pray she’s just been picked up but since we found a coyote so close to the house yesterday and 10 to 12 of my chickens are missing it hard not to think a coyote got her.

Thank God I have Chevy! He seems sad off and on but we are trying to keep him loved up and played out. Dixie was with him for 4 years. She was incredibly playful and they were like brother and sister.

Maybe Chevy will still have some amazing adventures? It may turn out that he’s ok being an only dog and loves ALL the attention. We’ll see. It will take some time.
