🚨**URGENT Foster Home Needed for Sweet Xara!** 🚨

PLEASE LETS FIND HER A FOSTER SO SHE DOESNT HAVE TO RECOVER AT THE POUND!She is back at the pound now!

Meet Xara, the sweetest girl who found herself at the pound last weekend. She was at Countryside in Champion, recovering from a foreign body surgery. Thankfully, no obstruction was found, but her intestines are very inflamed and she has slow mobility. Xara is on medications to help reduce the irritation, and we’re hopeful she’ll get her GI tract back to health soon. This situation is likely due to her scavenging for food on the streets.

At just one year old and weighing 37 pounds, Xara has already been spayed while she was under. Now, we need your help to find her a loving foster home so she doesn’t have to return to a completely full pound during her recovery!

Please remember this! It is not cute or funny to post pictures or videos or allow children or even adults to do this! Because in the end when the dog has finally had enough and does something about it the dog is the one in trouble. We need to do better and be better for our pups!

PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE.
✔️ Training your dog to behave around children is necessary. Dogs are unpredictable, but so are kids. That's why it's equally as important to learn how to teach kids to behave around dogs.

When I conduct meet and greets, some of you may have heard my introductory remarks. With certain dogs and cats, it is evident that they crave attention and affection, making interactions seamless and enjoyable for both your pet and me.

However, there are instances where meet and greets are still positive, but your dog or cat may be more reserved, nervous, or uncertain. In such cases, I will never force them to interact with me, and this may appear that I am rude or disinterested, which is far from the truth.

It is crucial to prioritize your pet's comfort and safety, and I achieve this by proceeding at their pace. Occasionally, an additional meet and greet may be necessary, and other times it may not be required, as each situation is unique. My ultimate objective is to establish a rapport with your pet, and I believe it is essential to respect their boundaries and timelines.

You may book me for visits, and it may take multiple attempts for your pet to become comfortable with my presence and interactions, and that is perfectly acceptable. I never force interactions, as my primary concern is the safety and well-being of both your pet and me.

Some decline to book my services due to my approach, and I respect their decision. I am not the right fit for everyone and I am okay with that. I also will not change how I do things, because at the end of the day it works and I have created so many AMAZING relationships with pets who may have taken a little more time than others to come around.
