Meet ANTHONY — a handsome, hilarious, slightly oversized puppy who is ready to become the center of your universe. And unlike your teenagers, he will actually be excited when you come home. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. ❤️
Anthony has been searching for his forever family for OVER SEVEN MONTHS, which is frankly ridiculous considering his qualifications:
🐾 Professional Snuggler: A+ rating. No personal space required. Your couch is now our couch.
🐾 Fitness Enthusiast (Within Reason): Enjoys three short walks a day, some backyard adventures, and the occasional hike in the woods. He's active, but he's not training for a marathon. Neither are you? Perfect.
🐾 Social Butterfly: Loves other dogs and would happily share his home with canine siblings. But he's also perfectly willing to be your one and only. He doesn't judge.
🐾 Entertainment Specialist: Runs like a complete goofball, occasionally chases his own tail (still hasn't caught it), and enjoys a good game of fetch. Unlike most teenagers, he actually returns things when asked.
🐾 Excellent Travel Companion: Loves car rides! No complaining about your music, asking how much longer, or requesting a drive-through stop every 20 minutes.
🐾 Good Listener: Knows some basic commands and is learning more. He may even listen better than your spouse.
🐾 Creature of Habit: Loves a consistent routine. Walks, meals, playtime, naps, repeat. Honestly, he's basically a retiree with fur.
Now, let's address the elephant (or rather, the adorable dog) in the room.
Anthony has a history of seizures. We suspect this has made some potential adopters nervous. But here's the good news: He hasn't had a seizure in over FIVE MONTHS! 🎉
His condition is currently well managed with medication and a special diet. And administering his medication? Easy. Just add peanut butter or cheese. Anthony considers this a gourmet dining experience and has absolutely no idea he's receiving medical treatment. 🧀🥜
A few things about his dream home:
Anthony would do best in an active, loving home without small children or cats. Other dogs? Absolutely! No other dogs? Also fine! More attention for Anthony!
He needs someone who appreciates a routine, enjoys a few walks, and doesn't mind having a furry shadow who thinks they're the most fascinating person alive.
And really, when was the last time someone thought you were THAT interesting? 😂
