Pawla's Pawesome Pet Spa is open for pet grooming in Newtown!!! A low stress environment for both dogs and cats!

I am Paula Elson and have been grooming for 35 years. During my career I have constantly continued education, not just in grooming, but skin and coat care, safe handling of dogs and cats, behavior and training. I am an AKC certified SAFE salon. I've also worked at veterinary hospitals as well

My personal pets have earned championships in obedience, agility and the show ring. Previously, I bred and showed cats as well. Needless to say, I'm very involved with dogs and cats.

I work with dogs and cats one at a time. All are hand dried and no cage drying. I use top quality products and equipment/tools. My salon is more of a private setting. Pets are usually with me for about 2-3 hours. My salon is in my home so I give my address when making an appointment. Prices are based on the condition and temperament of each individual, the type of groom and time needed.

Unfortunately, I no longer do very large dogs or dogs with aggression issues.

Just wanted to let you all know I miss you. I'm a few weeks away from being back in business!!! Been busy getting everything unpacked and get things done here. Also, been busy with the dogs.

Pawla's Pawesome Pet Spa is moving to Connecticut. I expect to be here in NY through most of January. Everything depends on the sale of our house.
I am so grateful that so many of you entrusted the care of of to our cats and dogs with me. Truly an honor.
As exciting our move is, I am saddened to be missing so many wonderful people and their awesome pets.
We are in search for our new home at this time.
Any available appointments will be reserved for existing clients only.
