At a Snail's pace... Observations in slow detail.
Uber Rainy August. Great Tree Frog weather!
I'm so lucky to have four pairs of these scrumptious birds on my farm this summer!
Morning Goldfinch eating seeds. Stunning birdie.
I have two families of Bunny Rabbits.
Lower Driveway Bunnies and Upper Driveway Bunnies. The lower ones greet me when I return at night. No matter how tired I am, they make me smile.
I have multiple Bunnies that live on my farm, so many in fact that I have upper driveway bunnies and lower driveway bunnies. They began breeding very early this year which surprised me because it was so cold. This is one of the early babies, he's grown considerably the past two weeks and he's adorable as bunnies are!
Driveway Bunny makes me smile
How is this for a barn cat ? At my Audden Farm, I have a resident Bob Cat. They are fabulous, reclusive, shy, great predators of 'pests' like voles and no threat to humans, horses or family pets larger than a chihuahua.
How beautiful is this cat?
Morning Biscuits, the BEST
Most people clean their chimneys, cap them and use them. Mine is a gigantic bird house for my yearly clutch of Chimney Swifts. They make a racket, even after dark and in the wee hours of the night, but for me, it's worth it. I'm helping a bird that has a hard time finding a suitable nesting site and a side effect is that the cats are well entertained!! In fact Harley was so consumed, I startled him when I snuck over to take the video!
Nothing more comforting than the snuggles and purrs of a kitty. Love my Harley.
Nothing I love more than working with horses! !
