Joy of Grooming is a locally owned family business specializing in pet grooming. Our goal is to provide a compassionate experience for your pet while delivering the services our pet owner clients request. We offer an open atmosphere with dog beds, toys, & fresh spring water to keep your pet comfortable while in our shop. Friendly dogs are allowed to socialize which can minimize nervousness and unn

ecessary tension. We have a wide array of shampoos to meet your pets needs, including hypo allergenic, skin soothing oatmeal, medicated, or flea and tick treatment. We even offer de-skunking treatments! Several of our current pet clients have been turned away from other groomers in the area, demonstrating our commitment to patience and unconditional love for each and every pet that comes through our doors. Owner Joy is actively involved in pet rescue and treasures the opportunity to be involved with finding homeless pets their forever homes. The Joy of Grooming actively works with local pet adoption agencies, including OSCAR & Father John's, providing free grooming services and holding pet adoption day events. Good evening, it’s Sunday night. I hope everybody had a great weekend. Please make sure your dog is safe and secure for the following week of Fourth of July. Many dogs get loose run out the door in a panic, after hearing the fireworks. So please for your dogs safety, put it in your bedroom when the fireworks are going off don’t open anydoors that go outside. I’m wishing everyone a very happy Fourth of July. Please be safe.

I know times are tough based on the decrease in frequency of visits, and pet parents asking for shorter cuts when they would not regularly, to gain more time between grooms. While completely understandable, it is having a big effect on our bottom line. Unfortunately, pets are being brought in less frequently and are in rough shape, which requires more work, and higher pricing, so please don't take offense. This can come as a shock on top of our raised prices, as all our utilities and inputs have increased dramatically over the last year, and our rent is about to increase too. Please try to keep your regular schedule, to avoid overgrown nails, matting, and excessive need for de-shedding. We offer reasonable $5 nail trims between grooms for our regular customers, so please take advantage. We hope to see you soon and appreciate your continued support. Please spread the word about our shop and help us sustain during the apparent downturn. It's up to you to keep the mom and pop, brick and mortar shops afloat! Book your next appointment today!

Hi this is Joy, my mother recently passed away, and I am looking for a home for two cats, 8 year-old brothers that have been together for their whole life. A nice quiet home would be the best for them. They have never been outside. They don’t even go by the door. They would be very happy with older people. They are very clean and only go in their litter pans. They are neutered. I will make sure that they’re up-to-date on their shots. Please only serious people contact me.
