Some cherished memories from our trip to the pine barrens this February. We still go down twice a year to dogsit the first dogs I ever dogsat, it has become our tradition, & the number one thing I look forward to each year. All the days, together all day, in my favorite place with the empty, gorgeous trails.
Heaven on earth.
Timber comes, too now. Heaven on earth for him, too.
Misia and I celebrated five years together while we were down there. Heavenly creature, I’ve never met one better. For whom I would do anything.
It’s been five years together, but like I tell her all the time, she only needs to know one number. And that is the number one. Because she is number one. Number one everything! (Timber is number 1.5 hehehe.)
I don’t care if I sound like a crazy dog person, I simply love her, and that is good. It is good to love, and she is very worthy of it.
