I have always posted that there are benefits to all types of training, especially group which I do not offer at this time. I utilized a local retail group training class and much to my dismay experienced an out of pocket trainer in a completely enclosed unmonitored arena. The most disappointing part was that my qualifications as a certified trainer that utilizes group was questioned by so many around this scenario. I will always stand by MY philosophy that there can be benefits to utilizing the different training formats, group, in-home, day, and board and trains as long as they use positive reinforcement. The well being of the dog comes first and the accommodation requirements of the human next.
