Hearts of Steele Rescue is 2 years old today! It's been a tough ride. No one really understands the toll animal welfare takes on you unless you're actually in the trenches every day. It's not for the faint-hearted. The things we see and deal with are sometimes indescribable.

But when you see a pup flourish and begin to love, play and be a dog...your heart swells. We do it for them. ❤️

The Rescue River Walk this past weekend was absolutely fantastic! The foster dogs had a great time getting all the attention and extra exercise. Everyone was all smiles! It made our hearts happy! ❤️

We can't thank everyone enough for coming out to show some love to our babies and donate to our cause. A huge thanks to Amber and Dustin for organizing and sponsoring the event. We will definitely be doing another one later this fall so keep an eye out!

Today is the day! Come see us at 11 am at the River Walk downtown and meet some of our foster dogs. ❤️

We will be starting near the bridge. Parking is available there and on Main Street. Look for our white rescue van with our logo. We have so many wonderful foster dogs ready to hit the River Walk with you! Hope to see you there!
