Exciting news! The Peninsula SPCA Barnyard and Education Center will be continuing our participation in the Ambassador Pass for Newport News residents and city employees. However, you may be aware our petting zoo hours vary and are not the same as our shelter operating hours (Tues-Sat, 11am-5pm). Because of this, we will be honoring Ambassador Pass holders for the entire month.

Please note, our petting zoo will be closed this week. If you happen to come on a day the petting zoo is closed, Ambassador Pass holders will get a free petting zoo pass to use in the future.

Petting zoo hours are dependent on weather and staffing availability. For the most up to date hours of operation, please call our front desk at 757-595-1399.
