Senior cats are the best! And this shows how much our local shelter truly cares for their animals
π― Meet Honey Disher, a sweet senior lady with a heart full of love and a second chance at happiness ahead of her. After being surrendered when her owner developed allergies, Honey Disher is now searching for a forever family that will cherish her through her golden years. π‘π
πΎ Honey Disher is a friendly, affectionate cat who has been a wonderful companion in our care. To help set her up for success, she has received extensive veterinary care, including bloodwork, radiographs, an abdominal ultrasound, and a dental cleaning with extractions of severely infected teeth. She recovered beautifully and continues to be happy, comfortable, and enjoying life. β¨
π Honey Disher does have a chronic kidney injury that causes her urine to appear cloudy or bloody and may make her more prone to urinary tract infections and, over time, chronic kidney disease. While she currently has a great appetite, good energy, and normal litterbox habits, her future family should be prepared for ongoing veterinary monitoring and potential medical expenses to help keep her healthy and comfortable.
π± As a senior pet, Honey Disher's adoption fee has been waived. PRAS has invested in her care and set her up for as much success as possible. She deserves a loving home with someone who can provide the care she may need in the future and who understands that senior pets still have so much love to give. π
If you're looking for a kind-hearted companion and are ready to give a deserving cat the retirement she deserves, Honey Disher may be the perfect match. π‘πΎβ¨
