It's been a great start to the week working Molly on her leash reactivity. So grateful to Kristen Rosner, another (GREAT) dog trainer who has been helping me work through Molly's leash reactivity with her dogs. Helping a dog get over their anxiety of other dogs when they are amped up with TOO MUCH excitement at seeing dogs, cats, squirrels can be really hard on an owner, the dog is triggered the owner is scared and that just goes straight down the leash to the dog causing more anxiety. Later this week I will share some Pro tips to help show how to over come leash reactivity with some videos. So look for tips on leash reactivity

Here’s the absurd part:
The same SSRI is prescribed for aggression, separation anxiety, leash reactivity, fear of strangers ...
How is that even possible?
One pill to treat everything?!
It DOES NOT work, because these are training and relationship problems, NOT serotonin deficiencies.
What’s more intrusive,
A properly used training collar that gives instant clarity,
or daily medication with side effects like lethargy, emotional dullness, agitation, and even long-term dependency?
Time to flip the script:
Ban the drugs before you ban the tools.

I had so much fun working with Neo this morning, he's such a great pomsky! We did everything from running around on this playground equipment to working on his down and his sit with distance and duration with some distractions. He's a little rock star! If you're looking for help with basic to advanced obedience, or ypu and your pup just need help with leash pulling, please reach out, to find out more about What the Pup!?! And our services

What do you do with your dogs so they look at you like this

I have three videos here, and I learned something this morning about my own training with my dogs and being very specific and consistent with my words. I wanted to call the dogs off of barking incessantly at a squirrel, and used both my come and my here commands; it's not surprising that Poodie didn't come originally since I didn't follow my own rules. In the end they both did what they were asked to do, and then were "released" with their free command. If you're having trouble with your dogs, AND you know they know the command, maybe STOP & take a video of yourself and see what you're doing WRONG. Even seasoned dog trainersI make mistakes😅 it's iimportant to follow consistency and timing and make sure you mark good behavior or bad behavior. I'm marking mine today with confusing commands.

Hello fellow self-employed dog trainers! My sister Tonia Hanada asked me to send this over to you and ask YOU to look at this program and see if it can be a benefit to you from the 2020, 2021 tax years it for yourself, and to please pass it along to ANYONE you know who may be eligible.

This is an IRS program few people know about and the IRS SECT program ends this April. It’s a Federal IRS money program for self-employed people. We know people who have been awarded over $10,000. It’s money self-employed people deserve from 2020 and 2021. Have a great day !

For a while now I haven't known what to post, even though I regularly am training dogs for some reason I can't seem to get my phone out at the same time that I'm training, so I don't think it does much for the business LOL but I'm going to start working on this!!! Please ask questions if you want to know anything it would give me something to post about
