🐾 Meet the Staff: Mandi – Lead Pharmacy Technician and Inventory Manager🐾

Say hello to Mandi, our incredible Lead Pharmacy Technician and Inventory Manager here at Dogwood Veterinary Hospital! Mandi has been a vital part of the Dogwood family for 9 years, and we can’t imagine this place without her.

Before joining the vet world, Mandi was professionally trained as a face painter for clown dogs—yes, really! 🎨🐶 These days, she keeps our pharmacy running smoothly, ensures every prescription is just right, and supports our team with her experience and heart.

Outside of work, Mandi is a proud mom of four amazing kids, a spunky cat named Michelangelo, and two lovable Labradors, Raven and Gilly. She’s also a doting grandmother and aunt, and takes every chance she can to spoil her granddaughter and new nephew. 💕

When she’s not at Dogwood, you’ll likely find her at the ball fields cheering on her kids or keeping her home spotless and serene.

Mandi says:
“Dogwood is my family. There’s never a boring day, and I’m always busy. I love what I do and never dread coming to work. I love this team and enjoy what we do for our clients and their pets.”

Meet the Staff Monday!
👋 Hi everyone, I’m Katlynn and I have been a receptionist with Dogwood Veterinary Hospital for a whole year! While I typically work our Urgent Care hours, you may also see me during the week answering phone calls and greeting each of your fur babies. Recently I have started coordinating events with local rescues and working hard on giving back to our community. I have been in veterinary medicine for 8 years and I love that there is always something new to learn to elevate the standard of care for our four legged family members. My coworkers have described me as bubbly, personable, empathetic, and maybe just a tiny bit loud (I LOVE to laugh).
When I'm off duty, I enjoy cooking, BINGO, cross stitching, playing cards, and spending time with my family. I enjoy the theater, BRAVES baseball, and am a big LSU fan. GEAUX TIGERS!!! My favorite movie is the original animated Lion King, and I can quote that movie verbatim. I am the proud mother of my beautiful daughter Emma and am a newly wed to my husband, Donald. We have two Great Danes, a pittipotamous, and three cats.🐶🐱 While I hope we don't have to see you during our Urgent Care weekends, you will be met with compassion, a big smile, and passionate veterinary care!
