🥵 Y'all... if you're already over this Georgia heat, your dog probably is too.

No amount of side-eye, panting, laying on the cold kitchen floor, or dramatically flopping in front of the fan is helping. 😂

One of the biggest things we can do for our double-coated babies this time of year is keep that undercoat maintained. A good de-shed helps remove all that loose, trapped coat so air can circulate the way it's supposed to.

And let's be honest... less hair floating through the house is a bonus too. 🤣

Oh Malibu! 🐾💙

The happiest Yorkie we have EVER met.

This boy arrived with one mission:

💋 KISS EVERYONE.

And when we say kisses, we don't mean a polite little smooch.

We mean full commitment.
No personal space.
Tongue-to-tonsil dedication. 🤣🤣🤣

Thankfully, he was just as sweet as he was enthusiastic.

We absolutely adored spending time with this happy little guy and can't wait to see him again!

Buddy came in for a spa day...
..and immediately acted like he'd been living here for years. 😂

No introductions needed.
No awkward first meeting.
No stranger danger.

Just:

"Hello everyone. I love you. Please proceed with the attention."

And honestly? We were happy to oblige.

This sweet boy spent the whole time smiling, wagging, making friends, and generally acting like the unofficial mayor of Canine Luxe. 🐾

We absolutely adored him, and judging by that giant smile, we think the feeling was mutual. 💙

Can I be honest for a minute?

When we opened Canine Luxe, we didn't set out to be the biggest grooming salon in town.

We set out to be the salon where dogs are treated like family.

The place where nervous dogs get extra time.
The place where senior dogs are handled gently.
The place where puppies learn that grooming doesn't have to be scary.
The place where we stop what we're doing and sit on the floor for cuddles if that's what a dog needs that day.

Of course we want every dog to leave looking beautiful.

But if you ask us what matters most?

It's trust.

The trust your dog has in us.
The trust you have in us.
And the relationships we build appointment after appointment.

Miss Molly came to see us this week and just look at that smile. 🥹🖤🐾

If you knew her journey, you know this sweet girl wasn't always so sure about the whole "grooming" thing.

There was a time when even getting through a bath felt like a big accomplishment. But little by little, appointment by appointment, Molly learned that grooming appointments didn't have to be scary.

Now? She walks in, soaks up all the attention, and acts like the salon was built specifically for her. 😂

And honestly... she's not entirely wrong.

Molly is proof that patience, consistency, and trust can make such a difference. Watching her confidence grow has been one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Plus, if there are belly rubs available, she expects them immediately and in excessive quantities. 🐾😂

We absolutely adore this big beautiful girl and are so proud of how far she's come.

Some dogs come in for grooming.

Charlie comes in to supervise operations. 🤣🤷‍♀️

Charlie is the definition of "go with the flow." Bath? Cool. Blow dry? Cool. Pictures? Cool. Randomly sitting in a chair like he owns the place? Also cool.

His favorite activity, however, appears to be aggressively distributing kisses whether you requested them or not. 😘😂

Honestly, if Charlie ran for mayor, we'd vote for him.
