On this day... 8 years ago...
A beautiful miracle happened, and I met what would become a piece of my soul.. a being of absolute marvelous ability and purity of sprit.
On this day 8 years ago.. an adventure of magnificent proportions began as the first EBC was born and became the first border collie Reaper K9.
My Bonnie girl... born into my hands, woke me up sitting on my chest every morning as the queen of escape artists.
Taught me so much and became so much... last year we didn't celebrate your birthday due to the hurricane... I told you next year... next year we will celebrate it... little did I know you wouldn't be here... little did I know our adventure would end... the program of 14 years of research, training, and breeding lost... now there is just a gnawing in my chest.. a screaming in my mind.. as my soul has been robbed of you far to soon... you had become a part of me and loosing you was like loosing a limb... now all that's left is your memory and your fallen goals.. but I will raise them.. despite your life being short... you inspired SO MANY and we will uphold your memory and your efforts. We love you Bon Bon... I hope your chasing and biting demons and sleeping in sun filled meadows under beautiful trees by a playful creek... see you someday my little darling.
