The Pet Spa We are a grooming and wellness center. Offering grooming services for both Dogs and Cats as well as a selection of nutritional foods and supplies. :)

The Pet Spa opened in December, 1997 based on the belief that your pets, as family members, deserve the best. You can trust that we continue to provide the best for you in all breed cat and dog grooming, pet supplies and wellness information. Your pet’s health will be at its best thanks to our selection of natural foods, treats, supplements and remedies. To fit your schedule, full grooming's as we

ll as bathing without haircuts are offered by appointment Wednesday through Saturday. If you need to drop off your pet before 8 am, we will arrange for an early drop off. Afternoon appointments are also available for clients who work earlier hours. Minor services such as nail trims, small touch ups and anal gland expression are done daily on a walk-in basis. We also are open one Monday every other a month from 8am to 1pm for those that cannot make our regular schedule.

CONNECTICUT SEVERE COLD WEATHER PROTOCOL IS ACTIVE

Connecticut is under the Severe Cold Weather Protocol beginning 5:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2026 through noon Wednesday, January 21, 2026 due to a blast of arctic air. 

This cold is dangerous—minutes can matter for both people and pets.

PLEASE: If you know of a dog currently outside, check on them immediately.
Bring them indoors if you can. If you cannot, make sure they have truly adequate shelter and are being monitored closely.

Important CT law reminder:
When a National Weather Service weather advisory or warning is issued or when outdoor conditions pose an adverse risk (extreme cold, wind, snow, etc.), a dog cannot be tethered outside for more than 15 minutes, and dogs must have adequate shelter—unless the person is outside with the dog and exposed to the same conditions. 

If you see a dog left outside in these conditions:
1. Call your local Animal Control (or local police non-emergency if ACO isn’t reachable).
2. If you believe the animal is in immediate danger (distress, exposure risk, no shelter, freezing conditions), call 911.

If you’re not sure what to do, err on the side of reporting. A quick call can save a life.

Watch out for any outdoor cats!
Bring inside if possible
Provide shelter outdoors
