Meet one of our most unadoptable dogs… just don’t tell him we said so.

🐾 Donnie (aka The Donald)
📍 Current agenda: Build a wall (between him and every other living creature)

We’d like to formally introduce Donnie, affectionately known around here as The Donald—not because of his politics, but because he absolutely radiates retired-but-still-yelling-at-the-TV energy.

He’s loud. He’s dramatic. He’s got opinions. He barks like someone’s listening.
And don’t be fooled by his age—he thinks he’s still in his prime.

Donnie is an older gentleman with strong views, questionable hair, and zero tolerance for anyone trying to tell him what to do. He hates other dogs. Despises being messed with. And believes deeply in personal space and a strict treat policy—preferably enforced by attractive women.

And somehow… he pulled it off.
I still don’t know how he did it… but Donnie managed to steal the heart of one of our youngest, prettiest members. She thinks he’s sweet. She thinks he’s just misunderstood. She thinks—and I quote—“he’s not even that bad.”

So now, thanks to this unexpected fan club, I’m stuck trying to find this grumpy old goat a home.

Donnie’s Platform Includes:
✔️ No dogs (they’re fake friends)
✔️ No kids (he’s not taking questions at this time)
✔️ Big bed, big snacks, big peace and quiet
✔️ A fence. Maybe a big beautiful one. The best fence. You won’t believe it.
✔️ A warm, shady spot where he can mutter about the youth these days

He’s not looking for “growth” or “healing” or “second chances.” He’s looking for total control and full snack authority.
