Gloria Gaynor (and Penelope) say it best… “As long as I know how to love I know I’ll stay alive!”

Although left abandoned, Penelope knew she’d live to see another day.. this girl has enough love to last a lifetime! She’ll prove it to you within 5 seconds of meeting her, too!

This sweet angel is part of our Sedona family now!

Happy National Rescue Dog Day to the dogs who got a second chance and gave us unconditional love in return. And here’s to the dogs still waiting!

🚨 German Shepherd lovers… meet Bella. 🖤🐾

This gorgeous girl has the classic shepherd look with a soft, gentle personality to match. Bella can be a little shy at first, but give her a minute and she’ll be leaning in for affection and showing off her playful side. She’s smart (thanks to her 4-week training program), walks like a pro on a leash, rides great in the car, and ignores other dogs on walks like the classy lady she is. Bella may be able to live with another easygoing dog or would be happy being your one and only queen. Healthy, spayed, and ready to start her next adventure! Learn more about how you can add Bella to your family! https://www.sedonashepherd.com/available-dogs-list/bella-5

Bella, we hardly you knew you. It only took 3 days for Bella to get adopted (and 5 minutes to find her forever mom). Bella arrived on Monday and was adopted on Thursday this week. You can read her full story as part of our continuing series of leaving no dog behind.

A community and Sedona Shepherd come together to help Bella and her owner.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE! We have not one but TWO adoptions in the house to the SAME family! Jett, a stray found in Newark, NJ. His scars tell stories - but he left them in his past, because his sweet heart somehow knew there were far better things ahead for him.

Jewel, an Amish breeding “tool”. She found her way through Jett, and became a DOG. Together, they’ll never have to look back again.

Beautiful things have happened, and it’s time for them to finally shine.. welcome to your happy ending, Jett & Jewel! We will miss you.

Special thanks to Sam, our volunteer for preparing Jett for his next journey through our Slumber Squad program where dogs spend the night with volunteers. And of course, thank you to all our volunteers for all the time spent with Jewel. We have the BEST team ever.
