🐾 Dog of the Week: Flo 🐾

Flo is equal parts sweet songstress, sunshine lover, and gentle social butterfly, she has a way of making every day at Pooch feel a little brighter.

Flo moves through daycare with such a lovely balance of curiosity and calm. She enjoys greeting her friends, exploring the space, getting in a good round of sniff-based social networking, and joining in for playful moments when the vibe is right. We’ve loved watching her have fun with pals and happily bouncing between playful energy and her signature chill demeanor.

One thing that makes Flo especially unforgettable is her voice. Our girl loves to sing, and when Flo decides it’s time for a performance, everyone knows it. Her beautiful howls have absolutely become part of her charm, and honestly, we consider ourselves lucky to get front row seats to her concerts.

Flo is also a professional relaxer. One of her absolute favorite things is stretching out in the sunshine in the backyard, soaking up every warm ray like it’s her full-time job. Whether she’s lounging on the patio, enjoying a peaceful walk, or taking a little quiet reflection time under a desk or in a cozy corner, Flo knows exactly how to protect her peace.

But beyond her playful side and dramatic vocals, Flo is such a genuinely sweet and grounding presence in the pack. She has a gentle way of welcoming new dogs, often helping calmer or more uncertain pups settle in with her easygoing energy. Even when the room gets rowdy, Flo keeps her cool, often choosing to observe the action before deciding whether she’d like to join in.

And of course, she’s always happy to collect the affection she deserves. Pets, cuddles, snuggles, patio hangs with the staff, Flo is very much a lover girl, and we are always more than happy to oblige.

Sweet, soulful, playful, and just the right amount dramatic, Flo brings so much joy to our Pooch family. Whether she’s singing us a song, sunbathing like a queen, or making new friends at her own pace, we absolutely adore our Miss Flo. 💕🐾

🐾 Dog of the Week: Bert 🐾

Bert is the definition of a gentle soul. Calm, affectionate, and quietly confident, he brings such a peaceful energy to the playroom every single day. From the moment he walks through our doors, tail wagging for his favorite handlers, it feels like everyone instantly softens around him.

Bert is what we like to call an “unbothered king.” He’s perfectly content doing his own thing, whether that means lounging beside the staff for cuddles, supervising the room from a comfy corner, or tucking himself into an open crate for a peaceful nap when he needs a little break from the chaos. Honestly, his commitment to protecting his peace is something we deeply respect.

While Bert tends to enjoy a slower pace, we’ve absolutely loved watching his social side blossom over time. He’s become more and more comfortable greeting new pups with soft curiosity and wagging tails, and recently, we even got to witness something extra special: Bert initiating play! Watching him zoom around, doing full body spins and trying to entice other dogs into a chase game, completely melted our hearts.

One thing that makes Bert especially unforgettable is how affectionate he is with people. He adores the staff and happily accepts forehead kisses, belly rubs, ear scritches, butt scratches, cuddles, and basically any form of loving attention available. In return, he gives the sweetest, politest little kisses that make it impossible not to fall in love with him even more.

Bert is social on his own terms, gentle with his boundaries, and endlessly sweet in the way he moves through the world.

We truly adore our Bertie boy and feel so lucky to know and love this incredibly special pup. 💕🐾

🐾 Dog of the Week: Chase 🐾

Chase is the kind of pup who brings instant smiles the moment he walks through our doors, tail wagging before his paws even hit the floor. This sweet boy brings a bright, joyful energy that makes every day at Pooch feel a little more fun.

Chase is what we like to call a friendly social butterfly. He loves greeting both new and familiar pups with curious sniffs and playful energy, always eager to make a new friend. One thing that makes Chase especially special is how naturally he welcomes new dogs into the pack. Whether it’s showing them the ropes or inviting them into a game, he has a way of making others feel comfortable right from the start.

One of Chase’s favorite pastimes is keeping watch by the fence, patiently waiting to see which staff member might be coming through next. The moment he spots a familiar face, his excitement kicks into high gear, tail wagging wildly as he waits for pets, cuddles, and attention. He absolutely loves being near his people, and honestly, it feels like he believes every handler is his best friend.

With his friends, Chase is equal parts playful and goofy. He enjoys wrestling, chasing, and engaging in silly play sessions, but he also knows when it’s time to slow things down. Chase is always happy to settle in for some well-earned cuddle time. Whether he’s lounging beside his buddies or soaking up affection from the staff, he has a way of turning quiet moments into something extra sweet.

What makes Chase especially unforgettable is just how affectionate he is. He is a champion cuddler who happily leans in for pets and even gives the sweetest hugs. His gentle check-ins with handlers and love for cozy moments make him such a comforting presence in the group. And of course, his excitement for blueberry pumpkin treats never goes unnoticed.

Sweet, playful, and endlessly affectionate, Chase is truly a ray of sunshine in our pack. His goofy charm, friendly spirit, and loving heart make him such a special part of our Pooch family. We absolutely adore our Chasey boy and feel so lucky to spend our days with this lovable pup. 💕🐾
