"We rescued Cudi when she was 4 and she’s always been sick. I figured we’d only have a few years with her. A month or two after we switched to The Farmer’s Dog she actually started getting excited to eat. Then she started to ask for walks all the time. Now you would think she’s a puppy! She runs around all day, plays, and snuggles. It has made such a difference in all our lives! I am so grateful!"

Thinking of shaving your dog for summer? Well, it might not be as ~cool~ as you think.

For some dogs, shaving their coat can actually increase the risk of heatstroke. Most dogs’ coats—especially double-coated breeds like huskies and goldens—are built to protect them from the heat. Last year, Juno was found pregnant, injured, and abandoned after being hit by a car. 💔

Juno was rescued and later fostered by Autumn Fox, whose dog Roo is just like Juno. Aside from being ridiculously cute together, Roo taught Juno about the cheese tax 🧀, how to play with toys, and how to be a dog. That's a good foster-brother!
