I encourage everyone to reach out to Gale Brewer and let her know you want something done. Dogs should not be considered property but part of the family, and the owners of the pitbulls should be held accountable.

More than 150 people took part in an UWS town hall on Wednesday to voice their concerns over the recent local dog attack.

Good news: the water got turned on at the park today
Bad news: we seem to be missing the little dome or shallow bowl the covers the drain. So the water in the bowl at the bottom of the fountain drains really quickly.

There is a water bottle filler too at the top. So while we try to find what we need to make the built in bowl useable please either bring a water bottle to or use smaller bowls to fill the larger bowls.

UPDATE: REUNITED!! Luna is home safe & sound after 6 days, 1 hours :)

Message from Owner: Hi everyone! I’m looking for my dog Luna! She managed to escape from my apmt building (we have confirmed security footage of a delivery person letting her out of the building at 5:15 PM)
She’s a very sweet girl but shy with strangers. We love her so much and want her .

Description: Black aussiedoodle, around 30lbs, recently groomed so her hair is short and she’s wearing a bow. She has white markings on her chest and paws.
