This is a serious message for all cat households especially during spring and holiday seasons.

🌸 Easter lilies are extremely toxic to cats.
Even small exposure (petals, leaves, pollen, or even vase water) can cause acute kidney failure. If your cat ingests any part of the flower even a dead leaf, “This Is A Medical Emergency.”

⚠️ Other common flowers that are toxic to cats include:
• Tulips
• Daffodils
• Hyacinths
• Chrysanthemums
• Amaryllis
• Azaleas
• Oleander

These plants can cause symptoms ranging from mild to life-threatening.

🧐Signs your cat may have ingested a toxic plant:
• Vomiting
• Drooling
• Loss of appetite
• Lethargy or weakness
• Difficulty breathing
• Irregular heartbeat
• Tremors or seizures
• Increased thirst or urination (especially with lily exposure)

✅ Safer flower choices for cat households:
• Roses 🌹
• Sunflowers 🌻
• Orchids 🌸

💡 What to do:
• Do not bring or accept toxic flowers as a gift if you have a cat or kitten.
• Always check mixed bouquets carefully.
• If exposure is suspected, contact a veterinarian immediately.
•Speak with your local florist and ask them to ask customers if the customer owns a cat.

Having flowers in your home should never come at the cost of your cat’s life. Stay informed. Stay vigilant.
