They called her Lola, though no one knew if that had always been her name.
When she was found, she was curled up inside an old bag like it was the only safe place left in the world. The streets were loud, the nights were cold, and everything was bigger than her. She didn’t bark. She didn’t run. She just waited—with wide, hopeful eyes—like she believed someone kind would eventually notice.
And someone did.
Lola was gently lifted out of the shadows and into warmth. Soft blankets replaced hard ground. Clean water, real food, and careful hands showed her what safety felt like for the first time in a long while. Even then, she stayed brave. Every day she grew a little stronger, a little bolder. She learned that doors could open to good things. That naps could be peaceful. That bows in her fur didn’t mean she had to be fancy—just loved.
Now, Lola is ready.
Ready for a home where she’ll be greeted by her name. Ready for a couch that becomes her spot. Ready for walks, quiet evenings, and someone who will look at her and say, “You’re safe. You’re mine.”
Her past was uncertain.
Her future? Full of love.
And Lol is waiting—again—but this time, for forever. 💗🐾
