Twenty Paws Rescue Twenty Paws Rescue, a 501c3 non-profit, located in NY rescues dogs and cats from all walks of life. We work with NY, NJ, PA, CT, MA, and RI.

Twenty Paws Rescue has one common objective and passion. Every day they strategize and devise plans to battle an ongoing epidemic plaguing our streets, the abundance of forgotten homeless, abused, and surrendered animals from every kind of background. Twenty Paws, a small rescue, is only able to bring their ambitious dreams to fruition by an exceptional and dedicated team composed of volunteers an

d fosters. Working tirelessly and within their means, Linda, Rachel, and the Twenty Paws’ team combine their boundless devotion to provide all Twenty Paws angels with exceptional foster life and vet care until they find a forever home. Even though the Twenty Paws focuses primarily on the “bully” breeds, they are not a breed specific rescue. Twenty Paws provides refuge and unconditional love to dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, sex, and temperament. Linda and Rachel strive to provide all Twenty Paws animals and families with the ideal match and safest environment possible. Furthermore, they have the strength inside to fight every minute. Until every shelter cage is empty, Twenty Paws will continue to be their voice. Twenty Paws Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization. All donations to the rescue are tax-deductible.

🚨MIA NEEDS A FOSTER 🚨 Sweet Mia urgently needs a foster or adopted. She is a little too high energy for her foster siblings, one just having had back surgery, and needs a place she can go be her wild self!

She got glowing reviews at daycare(swipe for the cutest report)!
Mia is a sweet, energetic 8 months old, 20 lb mix. She came to us after being surrendered to a local shelter.

✅potty trained ✅crate trained ✅dogs (note: she is in foster with cats but may be a little too energetic for them, always trying to play)

She is spayed and up to date on medical.

Are you looking for a mushy potato to be your bestie?! Blue is looking for her forever 💙 She’s sweet, cuddly, and loves her humans — but she’s also a sensitive girl who needs time and patience. She’s been in foster for a few weeks, spending most of her days separate from the resident dogs, working to decompress. She’s an anxious girlie, who has had a rough start to life.

She’s not perfect — but she’s so worth it. With structure, training, and love, this girl is going to flourish.

💙 75 lbs | 5–7 years
🐾 Best as only pet or experienced adopter (slow intros needed)
❤️ Needs continued training & confidence building
🚽 House + crate trained
🐶 Playful, affectionate, loves being the center of attention

Giving Tuesday is this week and we need all of you 🫶 We’ve had 43 dogs in our care this year, and for a small rescue that’s no easy feat! The medical bills have hit us hard, and we’ve had to slow down while we try to recuperate.

What has been amazing, is the support from all of you! And the love you’ve had for these dogs. We’d love you each to post a video of a TPR dogs rescue that touched your heart ❤️

Bundle up, grab your pup, and have some holiday fun at the Reindog Run hosted by !

It will be filled with tons of festive cheer—plus every dog gets a holiday bandana and jingle bell, and there will be refreshments for all participants. ❄️✨

📸 After your 3-mile run/walk (or 1-mile stroll!), grab a photo with Santa!
🎟️ Don’t forget to enter the raffles—proceeds help support us— Twenty Paws Rescue— and our lifesaving work.

A few reminders:
🐕 Please be mindful if your dog is shy or reactive—keep a comfortable distance so every dog and human has a great experience.

Having a bonded pair is so joyous and wonderful! They’re each other’s best friend but yours too! Who will be lucky enough to call these bonded sweeties theirs?

Lola is about 2 yrs old and 45 lbs; Thunder is about 4 yrs old and 60 lbs.

They’re housebroken, crate trained, vaccinated, and FULL of love. Great with kids ✅ other dogs ✅ Crate buddies ✅ soulmates ✅
