Twenty Paws Rescue has one common objective and passion. Every day they strategize and devise plans to battle an ongoing epidemic plaguing our streets, the abundance of forgotten homeless, abused, and surrendered animals from every kind of background. Twenty Paws, a small rescue, is only able to bring their ambitious dreams to fruition by an exceptional and dedicated team composed of volunteers an

d fosters. Working tirelessly and within their means, Linda, Rachel, and the Twenty Paws’ team combine their boundless devotion to provide all Twenty Paws angels with exceptional foster life and vet care until they find a forever home. Even though the Twenty Paws focuses primarily on the “bully” breeds, they are not a breed specific rescue. Twenty Paws provides refuge and unconditional love to dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, sex, and temperament. Linda and Rachel strive to provide all Twenty Paws animals and families with the ideal match and safest environment possible. Furthermore, they have the strength inside to fight every minute. Until every shelter cage is empty, Twenty Paws will continue to be their voice. Twenty Paws Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization. All donations to the rescue are tax-deductible.

From skin and bones to bright-eyed bundles of joy—meet the miracle pups who defied the odds and are now ready for forever (or individual fosters in the meantime). 💫

At just 6 months old and 28 lbs, these five siblings were found emaciated and barely surviving. But with love, care, and full bellies, they’ve each grown into sweet, playful, dog-friendly pups with huge personalities—and even bigger hearts. Now, they’re ready to find homes of their own. 🏡

🐾 Reggie (beige with white chest): Big, bold, and vocal—this beige boy is full of energy and opinions. He’s the life of the party and demands your attention (and then some).

🐾 Biggie (black): All black and all mischief, Biggie is our lovable troublemaker. Social, sassy, and never boring.

🐾 Frankie (black and white): Calm, thoughtful, and pure-hearted, Frankie is the mellow one who quietly wins you over with soft eyes and steady love.

🐾 Toby (white with brown, currently in foster): The floppy-eared cuddle king! In foster, he’s proven to be house-trained, crate-trained, and very into snuggling.

Our sweet Mikey is getting surgery today and it’s costing a whopping $16,000 🚨 we knew he needed it so there was no question but the rescue CANNOT afford this and stay afloat.

Mikey desperately needs our help. Since his return to our care a year ago, he’s lived in a loving and committed foster home. Unfortuantely, when he returned to us, we found he had a mass on his neck. After extensive testing and doctor visits, it was found to be cancerous. Most docs wont touch it since it is in a very delicate place and requires a specialist. While waiting to see that very specialist, Mikey began to deteriorate over the weekend. We thought this was it for our little hero. The world thinks otherwise. After meeting with multiple teams at the esteemed , they think he has a chance to live more happy years! But, he MUST get surgery. The tumor is causing breathing issues and NEEDS out! So, today, the AMC will remove his thyroid. During the diagnostic testing this weekend, they found issues with his spleen. So, it will be removed during the surgery as well. This is a huge surgery, but no boy is more deserving than Mikey. He’s endured more than our hearts can bare in his former life.

❤️‍🩹Please help us save his life and give him more happy years with people who adore him. We know this is an expensive undertaking. Frankly, we have absolutely no idea how we will afford it. While his fosters are generously offering to help, no one can handle this alone. That is why we are pleading for your help! Between our facebook and insta followers, if each person donates $1-2 we can cover this completely.

Mikey’s personality is infectious and touches all those he meets. Even when ill, the medical team raves about him and cannot get enough of his snuggles. Mikey needs this. He needs us. He needs your help. We have to give him hope.

These beautiful mixed-breed rescue dogs have overcome heartbreak and abandonment, leaning on each other every step of the way. Now, they’re searching for a loving, forever home together.

Fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and house-trained, Lola and Thunder are ready to move in and melt hearts. Lola is a gentle, playful girl who loves affection and belly rubs. Our happy senior Raven is settling into her new foster and looking for forever!

Raven is a sweet 13 yr old love bug that was surrendered due to housing issues. She is so full of love and light! She was a bit overweight but thanks to a lot of walks and a healthy diet she’s trimming down. After much testing she was diagnosed with Cushings Disease but is now on medicine and it’s completely manageable!

Raven is funny, loving, and anyone would be lucky to call her theirs. She’s looking for a couch to spend her golden years! Due to her age and need for exercise , we’d love to get Raven to a forever with no stairs and access to a yard.

She dog friendly, up to date on medical, and an absolute dream!

Jackson is a sweet, 3 year old, 45 lb boy filled with love and joy. Potty trained, crate trained, and eager to please, Jackson is great with people (including kids!) and cats. She’s dog friendly and SO easy. She takes meds to manage her Cushings (paid for my rescue) and gets food from at no cost to the foster.

Can ANYONE help? She’s 13 years old and about 62-64 lbs. She needs a home with no stairs. Super low key. She doesn’t ask for anything but love.

She’s the sweetest low energy dumpling

We just found out that the fosters management gave a deadline of Wednesday to move our hippo Raven. She's 13 years old and about 70lbs.

She's a sweet senior dog. Super low key. She doesn't ask for anything but love. She gets along with other dogs.

Can anyone help foster her???! She has a daily medication that she takes for cushing's. But is low maintenance! She's the sweetest low energy dumpling

Twenty Paws Rescue ALWAYS takes back our dogs no matter of they were adopted 5 days or 10 years ago! It's in our contract that every adopter signs. To our adopters, you are never trapped or without options. Please, contact us if there is an issue! We rescued our babies once before. We never want to have to rescue them again!

These 4 sweet gorgeous puppies are looking for fosters or adopters! ICYMI we rescued 5 sweet puppies in bad shape. They’re all thriving— Toby has gone to his own foster and Bugsy, Biggie, Reggie, and Frankie are looking for the same.

They’re all dog friendly, 6 month old, 28 lb puppies that are sweet, playful, and so fun! They’d make a great addition to any family.

They’re vaccinated and will be neutered when the time is right.
