We at Marine Park Veterinary Group extend our sympathies to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. We have been collecting food, clothing and water to distribute to the various shelters in Brooklyn.

We also would like you to know that we are currently trying to help the community by offering house calls on a case by case basis. Please call us with any questions or to set up an appointment.

We will be taking donations for canned food, water or clothing. Please drop off any items you can at our office. These items will be distributed throughout south Brooklyn and Staten Island.

A little bright light... A kitten was rescued today. We were at Marine Park Vet Clinic for only a few minutes to check things out... Of course no power. A client who is working rescue in the area found him under wreckage and brought him to Dr. Pete and Dr. Amy. It's Mom was found dead unfortunately but Pete, Amy and the staff cared for this kitten and she will be fine. This 5 week old baby has been named Sandy....

Please call our office (718) 382-9177 if you need to schedule an appointment. Again, our thoughts and prayers go out to those who have been devastated by this storm. We are here to try to help the community as best as we can in this time of need.
