The head of the police sergeants union launched a radio ad Wednesday that criticized Mayor de Blasio for trying to ban the iconic horse carriage industry — which brings in tourism and creates jobs — while telling cops there’s no money to give them raises.

A beautiful..touching story....

I'm still in New York City, I spent a powerful afternoon with the carriage horse drivers, the horses, Chief Arvol Looking Horse, the dalai lama of the Sioux Nation and with my camera. I'll write about this more when I return tomorrow to Bedlam Farm.
