Athena in AZ - Available for Adoption from Havanese Rescue Inc.

• State: Arizona
• Gender: Female
• Dog Age: 4 years old
• Dog Weight: 12 pounds
• Training Requirements: Needs work on crate and leash training
• Personality Qualities: Sweet and affectionate

Athena is a gentle and slightly timid pup who is slowly coming out of her shell in her foster home. Loud noises startle her. She is sweet and affectionate and loves a good cuddle on the couch or sleeping on the bed at night with her foster mom. She will go in and out of an open crate but is not really interested in spending time in the crate.

She follows her foster brother around and has taught herself to go in and out of the dog door. She has also started playing and scattering toys and doing zoomies with her foster sister. She will stand on her hind legs for treats and is a good traveler in the car.

During Athena’s time in foster care, she has not been exposed to children, men or cats, but given her timid nature we think if there are children in her adoptive home, they should be older, considerate kids.

Athena has pretty severe tear stains beneath her eyes which we discussed with the vet. He noted that the skin underneath her coat is clear and suggested to keep the coat/hair below her eyes trimmed daily. We are also trying a non-chicken diet to see if the stains improve.

Athena is being fostered in Arizona.

Muffy in RI - Available for Adoption from Havanese Rescue Inc.

• Gender: Male
• Age: 4 years
• Weight: 15 lbs.
• Training: House trained and Leash trained
• Working on: House training

Muffy is a sweet and precious boy with an infectious smile. Just look at that darling little face!

He loves to play with his squeaky toys, go on walks, lick feet and bark at dogs on the television.

Muffy can be a bit shy at first, particularly with men in the home, but once he warms up he is your little shadow and loves a good snuggle.

He isn’t fond of being left alone for any length of time so having another dog in the house to keep him company would be ideal.

We don’t know how Muffy would do around cats, but he is comfortable around children of all ages.

Muffy is a bright light and will bring joy to any home he becomes a part of.

Muffy is being fostered in Rhode Island.

Ziva in TX - Available for Adoption from Havanese Rescue Inc.

• Gender: Female
• Age: 8 years
• Dog’s Weight: .
• Training: Crate trained and Leash trained
• Needs work on: house and leash training and socialization experiences

Ziva is a sweet, gentle, calm, and independent pup who loves affection. Ziva does not jump on furniture and instead silently asks to be brought to the cushions for snuggles.

Ziva is good with all people, and enjoys human company including young and older children. She is full of tail wags and cuddles.

Ziva alerts the household when the doorbell has rung but is otherwise a quiet pup.

Ziva is great with other pups and loves meeting new dogs.

Ziva is leash trained, however not a fan of long walks. That said, she is highly food motivated and would benefit from regular exercise in her future. She enjoys all the smells of the great outdoors.

Ziva rides well in the car. She is a gem getting brushed and groomed! Ziva is crate trained but loves to sleep with her person at night. She has had a few potty accidents initially in foster care. She does not ask when she needs to go. However, with a consistent potty schedule, accidents are no longer, and she's going potty outside regularly.

Ziva is ready for her new forever home and to be someone's loyal forever companion!

Ziva is being fostered in Texas.

• Gender: Male
• Age: 5 years
• Training: Leash trained and Crate trained
• Working on: House training

Avi is a darling little boy who has soulful eyes that will melt your heart. He is gentle and friendly, adores children, and is good with men and women. Avi has a special talent for making himself right at home with the people he loves. One of his favorite things is meeting new people and new dogs!

Avi is a fan of a good snooze on the back of a sofa or curled up in a lap. He is always aware of where his person is in the house. Avi doesn't yet jump on furniture and accepts chauffeur service to the cushions.

Avi is typically quiet in the house; he will announce when visitors or deliveries arrive but settles easily.

Avi enjoys exploring the yard outdoors.

Avi is both leash and crate trained and is a superstar in the car.

Avi cooperates with grooming but is sensitive about his front paws and getting his nails clipped.

Avi is making progress with potty training. Given a schedule, he needs a belly band less and less as he settles into his foster home.

Avi will fill your home with quiet companionship, warm cuddles, and happy tail wags. Maybe the happy ending he’s been waiting for begins with you.

👉👉👉👉 UPDATE: ADOPTED 👈👈👈👈

Buttons in WA - Available for Adoption from Havanese Rescue Inc.

• Gender: Male
• Age: 9 months, DOB 10-13-2025
• Weight: 14 lbs.
• Training: Crate trained and Pee-pad trained
• Needs work on: Working on going outside and walking on a leash

Buttons is the cutest puppy! As a nine-month old, he exhibits typical puppy behavior, loving to play and to be with people. He loves rowdy play with his Havanese foster brother and is getting more confident by the day.

He likes to play chase, fetch (still working on returning the ball part), wrestling, and the new "empty the toybox" game.

He also loves to be on your lap or lying right next to you when he needs to rest or feels like socializing.

Buttons has not been exposed to cats or children. He gets along great with adult humans and other dogs.

He would be great in a home with children over 10, especially someone who will play with him and train him. He is very curious and learns quickly.

Buttons is currently being fostered in Washington State.
