Carlos Ocampo missed the weight limit, weighing in at 165 lbs for their contracted 164 lbs middleweight bout, while Weljon Mindoro successfully weighed in at 163.6 lbs.

Because Ocampo missed the weight limit, the following actions were taken to save the fight:

Purse Fine: Ocampo agreed to pay a 20% fine from his fight purse to Mindoro's camp to keep the bout on the card.

Title Consequences: The vacant WBC Centroamericana (FECARBOX) middleweight title is no longer at stake for Ocampo.

The 10-round middleweight clash will still proceed as scheduled at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.
