Wayward Paws, Inc. Wayward Paws, Inc. was founded in 2006. We are a small grass-roots non-profit (501-c-3) organization We are currently serving the CNY area!!

is a 501(c-3) non-profit Cat/Kitten Rescue and Adoption Organization. Onondaga, Madison, Oswego, Cayuga and Cortland counties. We try to help wherever we can :)

We do not have our own building to shelter our rescues, therefore our volunteers care for our cats/kittens in their own homes until they are ready to find their forever families! We also provide them with necessary veterinary care until w

e are able to find them permanent homes. We operate solely on the generous donations of others!! Plus, we help feral and semi-feral cats by spaying/neutering them through our TNR (trap/neuter/return) program. If we are able to find feral kittens in time (usually by 8 - 16 wks -- the sooner the better), we are able to socialize them and find them forever homes!!

Happy Sunday! Another quick update about our upcoming anniversary. Since I didn't get the info out fast enough and theres a million other events in September, I decided to push it back a couple weeks into October. Paws and Reflect 6 will be taking place October 11, 2026! We are accepting vendor apps, looking for item donations to bid on, and would love some volunteers to assist with the event! We have a page on the website with more information!
On our actual anniversary, Saturday September 19, we will be offering specials all weekend long including a special menu (drinks and snacks), a gift shop sale, and more! We might try do have some special guests (hint: they're cats) in our hallway for funsies!
Hopefully this extra time will help me prepare and get things in order to make this year awesome as always. We love to be able to give back to our rescue partners for all they do through the year for us. We wouldn't be where we are without them!
Mark your calendars for both- I'm going to try and have some new gift shop stuff ready for September as well!

Meet Fisher. He's a 1 to 2 year old young man who was found living outside in 'less than ideal' conditions, in a community of hungry and neglected cats. Despite being mistreated in the past, Fisher loves giving and receiving affection. He has a vocal and charismatic personality that matches his funny face markings. He is learning how to be a pet and interact politely. Sometimes he can get a little intense while playing and therefore would do best in a home without young children. Fisher is a lover through and through, and deserves a lifetime of safety and love. Please share. Contact Beccah with any interest or questions at 315-289-6090.
