🐾 They Were Left Behind… Now They’re Looking for Love 🐾

Last week, three sweet dogs were abandoned on the side of the road in New Windsor during a storm. Our Animal Control Officer and her team took the time to build a comforting cage outside during the lightning storm and safely rescue them - but the pups were confused, scared, and waiting for someone to come back for them. Sadly, no one did...

But their story doesn’t have to end there. ❤️

These three are safe and ready for a fresh start! Although timid, they are friendly, loving, and all share the same wish: a loving home where they’ll never be left behind again!

Meet our 3 Black Mouth Curs Pitbull mixes -
✨ Stormy - our white & tan pup with the most loving eyes!
✨ Diesel - our tan pup with the cutest white paws!
✨ Tank - our shy, tan bundle of love! (named after his favorite hiding place, where we found him - under an oil tank)

**Public Notice**

New Windsor Animal Control and Police are aware of the dogs that were dumped at the gas station across from the main entrance of Stewart Airport on 207.

Animal Control is onsite and actively working on catching them. There is no known threat with these animals and the public at this time.

This blue nose male pit was found on Little Britain Road. He is very friendly and had an electric fence collar on with no microchip.
