Everyday with newborns is a special day. This morning I woke to this scene as the babies, eyes and ears still not open, found themselves pleasantly nursing as Mama rested. We scooped them up for their first vet visit after Friday’s introduction to the grandchildren and dear friends. While we experience sleepless nights the first week or so, lying next to puppies and Jo in the whelping pen, making sure they are safe and warm and taking Mama outside as needed, the joy these babies bring to us now, and their families later is such a privilege to experience. We are so blessed with puppy love. 🙏🏻🐾🩷🩷🩷💙🩷🩷🩷💙

Meet Jo and Paxton’s ten healthy Goldendoodle puppies! Born this afternoon in a span of about five hours, Josephine and her babies are all in excellent health. Jo seems to love taking care of and nursing them. Welcome to the world, precious babes. 🐾💕💙
