UPDATE… our amazing community came to our rescue and spread holiday cheer for all our pups! 100% of the items on our wishlist have been purchased 🎉🎉 We go through food at a fast pace, as we have 82 dogs in our care. Your help is greatly appreciated. We can’t thank everyone enough. WE LOVE YOU GUYS! Xoxoxoxox ❤️❤️❤️

🚨 URGENT DOG FOOD PLEA 🚨
We’re reaching out to our incredible community because our shelter is running dangerously low on both dry and wet dog food.

Right now, we have 82 dogs in our care — from tiny puppies to large adults — and it takes a tremendous amount of food to keep everyone fed and healthy. We go through two giant bags of dry food every single day, plus a large amount of canned food for puppies, seniors, and dogs with special needs. Our shelves are nearly empty.

Hey guys! This time of year, we see a rise in animals being purchased as "surprise gifts." While intentions may be good, sadly many of these animals end up returned, neglected, or rehomed once the novelty wears off. Before bringing home any animal as a gift please consider their long-term needs and make sure everyone is on the same page, and if the new pet is for a child please make sure the adults are ready to take on the workload too. You are not just giving a present, but also responsibilities and a living thing that needs love and care. Responsible pet ownership is the best gift you can give to them ♥️
