Silver Sands Bridle Club

Silver Sands Bridle Club SSBC is a membership organization with emphasis on showing horses. Currently SSBC has 300+ members in Volusia and surrounding counties.

Silver Sands Bridle Club Inc., was Formed in 1948 and was originally known as the Volusia County Quarter Running Horse Association. The predominant interest lies in English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Dressage, Hunter Jumper and Barrel Racing Shows, which are held monthly. SSBC meets the last Monday of each month except for May and December. The public is invited to attend these meetings. The faci

lity includes a covered 250' by 120' arena with 100 stalls and two outdoor riding arenas, round pen, ample parking, and 26 electrical hookups. The facility is available for rental to other horse clubs or horse related groups.

Just Jumpers #3 is Saturday, 5/3. You must preenter by noon on Friday 5/2. Enter by 4/27 to receive a $10 preentry credit!! Sun of Beaches food truck & catering will be there!! Come jump under the covered arena, rain or shine!

The 🐰Easter🐰dressage show is this weekend!! Looking forward to seeing everyone!

🐰9 am start both days! Saturday is a long day!! Please be early, not just on time!! Your ride time is when you should be entering at A and going down centerline, not entering the arena. For those riding in the small arena in the afternoon on Saturday, we usually run a little ahead as the day moves on! Please be ready to go!!

🐰The SSBC Jr. Board is having an Easter egg hunt at 12:00pm on Saturday in the northeast corner under the trees. While donations are appreciated, the Easter egg hunt is free!! Some lucky people will win one free stall to be used at an SSBC show in 2025!!

🐰 Sun of Beaches food truck & catering will be at SSBC all weekend serving breakfast, lunch and dinner!!

🐰Ride times were posted yesterday here and on the website.

🐰For those coming in on Friday, gate opens at 2:00pm. Arena will be open for riding until 7:00-7:30pm Friday evening.

🐰If you are riding Sunday only and coming in on Saturday, please do not arrive before 3:00pm. The arena will be open for riding on Saturday after the show is over until 7:00pm. Please do not enter the arena until the judge and scribe both leave.

🐰Bring shavings, as SSBC no longer provides them!

🐰SSBC has not had a lot of rain , but just to be safe back your trailers in, don’t drive through the grass. If you get stuck, you will have to call a tow truck!

🐰If you are bringing a 🐕dog🐶, it needs to be on a leash at all times, including in the barn area.

🐰Admission for spectators is $0, as always! Bring a chair! Come watch some great riding, see lots of 🦄, and eat some great food!!
