Today we celebrate the life and legacy of Commander Junny from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. Junny, a Law Enforcement canine who served his entire career at the side of Sheriff Wayne Ivey, not only was a source of service, support and inspiration to his community in Brevard County, but through the efforts of Sheriff Wayne Ivey and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, he inspired and uplifted his social media audience members from around the world as well as all of the other lives that he touched through his service activities. To us, Junny truly became the example as to what a successful Law Enforcement canine can accomplish in his career. His legacy leaves a deep impact on his community, on his namesake, Junny Rios-Martinez, and on the entire Law Enforcement Canine community. Our hearts are with Sheriff Wayne Ivey and the Brevard County Community today and always as we continue to honor the legacy of Commander Junny.

K9 Cali still going strong 💪

On January 17th, K9 Cali and her handler received the Homeland Security Investigations Task Force Officers of the Year Award for NC. It was a great honor for K9 Cali to be named along with her handler for this award.

K9 Cali and her handler were responsible for the seizure of large amounts of fentanyl, methamphetamine, co***ne and ma*****na in 2024. They have been supporting CMPD Airport Narcotics Unit and Homeland Security since 2018.
