This month, our PAWS OF FAME STAR is......

TEDDY!

Teddy is such a perfect name for this cute pup! Teddy is just like a little furry bear with a big heart and a smile that lights up our salon when he visits! He’s been coming to PETS since March 2024-almost two years!

Teddy is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and couldn’t be more like his breed- sweet, gentle and playful.

Cavalier’s like Teddy need regular brushing to keep their silky coat soft and their skin healthy. Being a more adventurous and playful dog, and because they are affectionate and always wanting to be touched, they require regular baths and nail trims to keep them clean and fresh. Some coat trimming is necessary but more a pet parent preference.

Teddy is such a joy to groom, and he really seems to enjoy the bonding experience with his groomer. He has to greet ALL the pack members when he visits! It’s easy to see that, true to his nature, he would be a loyal companion who craves company.

According to mycavalierpups.com, "Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are often called “velcro dogs” for a reason – they stick to their beloved humans as closely as possible. These little spaniels truly thrive on social interaction and being part of the family’s every moment. A Cavalier will want to be included in your daily activities, whether it’s watching TV, working at your desk, or even following you on simple errands around the house. Their companionship needs are high; they form deep bonds and don’t like to be left alone for long periods."
