This post is out the normal, but Saturday afternoon driving down our road to head to town Ryan came across a lab mix near a creek on our road so he stopped and got out checked the houses near by and no one knew the dog, well he went back to truck and the dog jumped into his dually’s window, so now we have this sweet female lab mix that has been staying with us since Saturday. Anyways, the neighbor down the road comes rushing into the drive and was like do you guys have a shepherd and I said well Ryan has German shepherds but they’re all accounted for in the outdoor kennels, she said the dog was near the creek as well. The day goes on, and I see a post from the local vet about the German shepherd it had walked about a mile down the creek and found itself at another home. I checked the lab mix for a chip no chip, so I drove to the next road over where the shepherd was with the lab mix and they were so excited to see each other, the shepherd was actually crying, super sad 😞 the lab mix has been inside with us and our zoo and is super sweet, not dog aggressive, no accidents in the house. She is thin. I’m thinking someone dumped them. The lady who has the German shepherd mix messaged and said the animal shelter is full, well we have plenty on our plates already. We are looking to hopefully find a home for them both together, as it was so sad to drive away without the lab mix buddy, the German shepherd. Tuesday will be the 72 hour mark that no one in any groups have claimed them, so we are hoping to find them a home together. I don’t know much about the shepherd but I can tell you this lab was an inside dog at some point, she wants to be inside. She wants to be where you are, super laid back, lazy very sleepy girl. If any one is interested in giving them a loving home please message the page! We unfortunately can’t keep them forever. Also the cats don’t phase the lab mix. The people with the shepherd said he’s super sweet as well and has been neutered by whomever previously owner was.
