Will begin by working our way through the existing waitlist, but if you leave a message on the clinic machine 701-947-2000 we will get to everyone we can.
Sunday is already full, we will do callbacks on Saturday evening to schedule what we can for the Monday & Tuesday spots.

Hello everyone, I am working my way through the long list of requests for appointments. This is tentatively what the week is going to look like. Expect a call this weekend if I have your number, watch for an appointment time suggestion under your request if I don't.

MONDAY: Everyone who just needs meds I will have stop by in the morning to pick them up.
TUESDAY: Surgery day. Anyone who requested dentals, spay/castration, mass removal appointments I will try to get you in on this day so if any post-op or post-anesthesia question or rechecks can be made while I am still in ND.
WEDNESDAY: Late afternoon appointments. Anyone that can't get away from work this will be the best day to get in because I will plan on appointments in the 5-8pm range.
THURSDAY: All day. Second surgery for overflow and rechecks.
FRIDAY: All day. Regular appointments, overflow, rechecks.

The next vaccination and surgery clinics will be the week of June 2-6. If you would like an appointment for the week please comment below, I will formulate the schedule during the last week of May and get back to you with date and time then.

A reminder that the vaccination and surgery clinics are the ONLY availability until further notice, as previously posted. The clinic is not staffed while the doctor is away.

VACCINATION CLINIC this Thursday from 5pm-7pm
Current clients please call the office to be assigned a time slot. This will be the best time to get this spring's Bravecto if you need that.

I'm going through the month's messages, if you weren't able to get through the machine has been cleared. Apologies, there were many people not in the clientele who were leaving messages and it filled up.

Monthly vaccination and surgery clinics will be the extent of doctor availability until further notice.

I see a few lengthy posts about how to rewarm calves (and am guilty of them myself) but to keep it simple there are 3 rules to for the calves to live by:
1. WATER IS BEST circulating very warm water is the absolute best rewarming method (fill the tub then keep adding warm water, circulate with your hands). Dry thoroughly with warm, air, don't rub too hard with towels.
2. MANAGE PAIN these calves are painful! DO NOT rub their limbs to rewarm them, give them appropriate pain medication in the form of Flunixin, Aspirin, or Meloxicam per your vet's instructions.
3. ONLY FEED WARM CALVES don't give milk until their body temp is in the normal range. The gut shuts down when they are too cold, the milk will only sit there and increase the chances of later GI problems like scours.

Special treatment for these calves for a few days. Extra bedding, calf jacket, and protect them from wind. They have been through a lot.
