We said goodbye to our dearest, sweetest Caramel yesterday. She touched so many human and canine lives. She taught us unconditional love, to accept endless licks, to be strong. Caramel came into our lives at a time when we needed her. She stayed with us as long as she could. The void she lives will never be filled. We were so unbelievable blessed with her. We traveled many miles, saw so much. She touched the lives of countless dogs, graciously opening her home & her family to them.
She took on a little sister. Right from the moment we picked up Dixie, she knew this pup was different from the others who came to play & sleepover. She taught Dixie the ropes and handed her the reins of keeping our crazy family in check.
We know there were countless friends there to meet you, eager to see you. And even after you left us here on earth, you sent us this beautiful rainbow which stayed In the sky for almost 30 minutes last night, still taking care of us, reassuring us.
Caramel, we love you endlessly & we love knowing you are swimming in muddy water, licking everyone you can & running through the fields chasing a gator driven by Poppa. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

⭐️NEW MEMBER⭐️ Please welcome our newest member, Chris Hasenkopf. Chris loves volunteering in our community and has been a member of the NPFD since he was 16! He is a sophomore, studying health sciences at UCC and is currently enrolled in their EMT course. In his free time, Chris enjoys exercising, woodworking, and hanging out with friends, family and his dogs! Welcome aboard Chris!
